Walkway - Park Orchards

Client Brief:

Create a walkway to the front door that didn’t overwhelm the surroundings and to be random shapes and sizes.

What we did:

  • Create 5 separate platforms that wound through the existing rocks, each a different size and shape to meet the clients brief.

  • Special attention given to shaping  the platforms where possible around the natural form of the rock and install decklights for night use.

Remove the wall between the bathroom and toilet and extent the hallway wall to create 1 large bathroom. Replace the 2 different sized windows with 2 the same size and create a modern bathroom with a walk in shower and free standing bath.

What we did:

  • Complete strip out of all components.

  • Remove one wall and extend second wall

  • Relocate the door and install a new cavity sliding door for access

  • Relocate the shower and the bath

  • Completely replace the floor

  • Remove existing windows and reframe to suit 2 new windows the same size

  • Create a walk in shower

  • Waterproof the entire floor as well as wet areas

  • Install floor to ceiling tiles and replace the plaster ceiling

  • Rewire the separate rooms and install a heater fan light combo and downlight over vanity

  • Relocate the floor heating duct

Testimonial:

We are very pleased with this finished bathroom, lots of compliments, and we felt in safe hands with both yourself Nigel & the happy precise work of Shane throughout the process , also very accomodating with small changes.

Box Hill - Bathroom Renovation

Client Brief:

The client brief was to update the bathroom to a modern look with a feature tile wall. Increase the size of the pokie shower and increase the light in the room as there were no windows.

  • Enlarge the shower footprint by reshaping the concrete floor and moving the shower screen forward approx. 400mm
  • Removed the cornice on the ceiling and installed tiles from floor to ceiling and “squareset” the junction between wall tiles and ceiling.
  • Reframed the wall to allow a larger recessed shaving cabinet to be installed
  • Completely waterproof the floor in addition to the wet area
  • Install additional downlights to create more light
